But aviation helmets are big, heavy, very expensive and do not work outside the cockpit. And, of course, a mere mortal will never give not what to buy them, but even should be considered.

Why crowdfunding and where will the money?

The project hailing from Russia. In Russia, venture capital investors are reluctant to invest in new ideas and funding clones of Western sites — Groupon, Airnb, Zappos, Yelp, Booking and other. They are not interested in the production of material things, only services and programs.

And this project, although the original, technologically advanced and promising an "iron" startup, and an investor for it is hard to find. The government allocates small grants, and has allocated a "seed" grant. But this money is not infinite and is spent on prototypes.

Therefore, the money collected through crowdfunding to put the collected funds to manufacture a production sample.
